Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026 · Applies to the JukeDen apps and jukeden.com
These terms are between you and Solidarc LLC, the maker of JukeDen ("we", "us"). By installing or using JukeDen you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What JukeDen is
JukeDen is an app for Android TV, Android phones and Android tablets that plays music you already have — from your device, a USB drive, a network share (SMB or WebDAV), a DLNA/UPnP server, or a media server such as Jellyfin, Subsonic or Plex — and sends it to speakers you already own on your network. With your own subscription it can also play Apple Music, and it can show what other music apps on the same device are playing.
Your music and your network
- Your content is yours to have. JukeDen does not supply music. You are responsible for having the right to play the files and streams you point it at.
- Your equipment. JukeDen controls devices on your own network — speakers, TVs, media servers — only when you ask it to. You are responsible for the devices you connect it to and the credentials you enter.
- Local by design. Audio plays between your own devices; it does not pass through our servers. What does reach our servers is described in the Privacy Policy.
Accounts
You can use JukeDen without an account. Signing in is optional and is used to carry a subscription across your devices. You are responsible for keeping access to the account you sign in with. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings › System › Account › Delete account) or at jukeden.com/delete-account, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Free. JukeDen can be used for free, with the limits shown in the app. JukeDen shows no ads.
- Plus and Max are subscriptions, sold in the app through Google Play and on jukeden.com through Stripe. Price, billing period, any free trial and renewal are shown before you buy. The store you buy from — Google Play or Stripe — handles the payment, and its terms and refund policy apply to that purchase.
- Renewal and cancelling. A subscription renews until you cancel it where you bought it: in Google Play for purchases in the app, on jukeden.com (Manage web plan, on your account page) for purchases there. Deleting your JukeDen account does not cancel a subscription. Paid features stay available until the end of the period you paid for — unless you delete your account first: then they end at once.
- We may change what Plus or Max include or what they cost. Price changes apply from your next billing period, with the notice the store you bought from requires.
Other companies' products and services
JukeDen works with products and services made by others — for example speakers, media servers and music apps. Their names belong to their owners. JukeDen is an independent app and is not made, endorsed or certified by any of them unless we say so explicitly. Each of those products and services is governed by its own terms, and a change on their side can stop a JukeDen feature from working with it.
Acceptable use
- Do not use JukeDen to access devices, shares or accounts you are not allowed to use.
- Do not use it to infringe copyright or to distribute content you have no right to.
- Do not attack, overload or reverse-engineer our servers, or abuse the party features to send others content they did not ask for.
The app is provided as is
We work to make JukeDen reliable, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will work with every device, server or file, or without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Solidarc LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of JukeDen, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for JukeDen in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by contract.
Ending
You can stop using JukeDen at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access to our online services for anyone who breaks these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.
Changes
We will update this page when these terms change and note the date above. Continuing to use JukeDen after a change means you accept the updated terms.
